Georgia’s 1^st Annual Hummingbird Festival

Wow! What a fantastic festival we had for our first time out! Jacob Lougee, one of the many kids who attended the festival, said, "This was the best day of my life!" He will always remember the day that he got to hold a hummingbird in the palm of his hand. We had about 35 lucky people who were able to release birds after they were banded during the festival. A big "Thank You" to Buddy Rowe – our festival coordinator and to all the Georgia Hummer members that helped!
